You should have something like: device atkbdc0 at isa? port IO_KBD # The controller device atkbd0 at atkbdc? irq 1 # The keyboard device psm0 at atkbdc? irq 12 # The mouse What you most probably have is an irq conflict with something... dmesg output would be most useful...
