The filesystems were formatted originally using bad144, then with the switch to 4-STABLE bad144 flag was removed with disklabel -e -r. >Description: After latest 4.2-STABLE upgrade, new kernel panics with: /: bad dir ino 2 at offset 0: mangled entry panic: ufs_dirbad: baddir This occured only on 4.2-STABLE.
