Any help I can offer?  I know very little about it but I could test
preliminary patches etc.  Or if you give some hints about what could
be wrong I could try poking around myself, though it probably won't
give any results.  Anyway, it would be nice to have it fixed.  I'm not
on the -multimedia list; should I subscribe?
