Looking at the release notes it seems FreeBSD 8 now supports booting from a GPT formatted partition but going through the installer it seems, please correct me if I'm wrong, that its still no possible to actually install using a standard disk1 to a clean machine with a large disk? I've found a number things articles on how to achieve this on previous versions, but they are all quite complex and was hoping there was a nice easy way on 8.0 given the improvements listed in the release notes. Any pointers? Regards Steve ================================================ This e.mail is private and confidential between Multiplay (UK) Ltd. and the person or entity to whom it is addressed.
