eggdrop is an IRC bot. Probably something one of your users started .... Depending on your policy/openness to this sort of thing you may or may not want this thing running on your machine. I've let people run them on my internal, "corporate" box where it's just my stuff, but I would be a *LOT* fussier about them on a box running publically-accessable services.
