I have an Asus P2B-D for my server. I tried to enable the SMB in SMP mode but I get a panic on boot. I don't have a log yet. I added the following to my SMP kernel to cause the panic. controller smbus0 controller intpm0 device smb0 at smbus? controller iicbus0 controller iicbb0 device ic0 at iicbus? device iic0 at iicbus? device iicsmb0 at iicbus? controller pcf0 at isa? port 0x320 net irq 5 In UP mode it boots fine and produces the following dmesg. What can I do to trouble shoot this. This functionality is not required by me, but if I can help with out bringing the server down for too long I will do what is needed. My first guesses are I probably need a serial console? and kernel debugging DDG? I din't find any open PRs in "i386" searching for SMB or SMP. All pointers welcome.
