Agreed.  I didn't see the original, but it sounds as if it could have
been more tactful.  As you see, the other side was more than
reasonable.

I didn't think they would.  But you're still allowed to quote it:
"Gardner group report finds FreeBSD has 40% higher throughput than
Linux" must be completely legal.
