Hey Matt, got my address typed in incorrectly, so please use the reply-to from this message :) The crash occurs only when I _first_ try to mount it as UFS and _then_ mount it via mount_msdos. The DOS filesystem is not a floppy, it's a Win95 partition on the same hard drive. I believe it's not FAT32 (don't have any idea whether mount_msdos would mount a FAT32 partition). Have to add that it's a filesystem that has filenames with non-latin characters (Russian actually) in them which all appear as question-marks '?', guess that shouldn't be related to the bug but who knows... Hope that helps. Dennis ------------------------- Hmm... I think we need a bit more information. Does the crash occur only if you first try to mount the disk as a UFS disk and then later try to mount it as an MSDOS disk? Or does it crash if you first attmept to mount it as an MSDOS disk? And, also, what type of filesystem is actually on the floppy ? -Matt To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-bugs" in the body of the message
