When I started wearing black, it was many years ago, and many,
many years before I moved to Europe. At the time, I had friends that
were "Goths", and that is why they wore black. I had my own,
different reasons.

I do generally prefer proper British spelling, but I do not
always manage to adhere to it. Having a built-in as-you-type
spelling checker in my current MUA of choice does tend to cause me to
use more American-style spellings in many cases, if only to get rid
of the red underlined text.
