According to Palle Girgensohn: > This card has a built in SCSI adaptor, Symbios Logic* 53C876 Dual > Channel Ultra. Will this work without CAM? I have found references in > hardware.txt to 53xx75, but not ..76, (I think...) I have presumed that > I need a separate SCSI controller. Is this false? Yes. A 876 is just two 875 on a single PCB w/o the need of a PCI-PCI bridge if I remember well. It should be found as two ncr875 cards. -- Ollivier ROBERT -=- FreeBSD: The Power to Serve! -=- roberto@keltia.freenix.fr FreeBSD keltia.freenix.fr 3.0-CURRENT #64: Fri Sep 11 23:22:44 CEST 1998 To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-hardware" in the body of the message
