That is true; however, the <port> breakage yesterday went almost 11 
hours before it was fixed. By the time the cvsup mirrors had it, it 
would have been broken for half a day. I liken that response time to 
turning one of the fully loaded, huge oil tankers and saying it was a 
fast turn when it was finally accomplished. Half a day is probably 
fast enough for the docs but it is a long time in the computer world.

 From my end, it wasn't a really bad thing because I learned something 
watching it be fixed. I maintain local copies because a network asset 
isn't an asset when your network line is down. One of Sprintlink's 
routers in Tacoma, Wa was down for almost half a day recently and my 
local docs were all that I had.
