Can somebody try to compare verbose `dmesg` and `devinfo -vr` with and with=

the attached patch to find out what exactly it change in resource allocatio=
n?

PS: I am not sure it is a video adapter problem, not a BIOS, so the patch m=
ay
apply workaround at the wrong place (be somewhat overaggressive).
