Actually, I meant compile on a -march=pentiumpro system with /etc/make.conf set for CPUTYPE=i486 or no cputype. NOT using the /etc/make.conf with CPUTYPE=p3 to BUILD the 486 code. This is valid, correct? the tool chain should NOT pick up the host libraries at all right?
