I upgrading the kernel to r330489 and added:

options MAXPHYS=3D(1024*1024)
options DFLTPHYS=3D(1024*1024)

Since then, the following error occured:

echo "gtar -v -c -b 128 -F /root/select_tape -f /dev/nsa0 --sort=3Dname -C
/mmed/.zfs/snapshot/backup_2018-03-15 ./" |at -q A now

The log-file from at contains:

The kernel is:
[ah@tmaster ~]$ uname -a
FreeBSD tmaster 10.4-STABLE FreeBSD 10.4-STABLE #0 r330489: Tue Mar 6 19:1=
1:47
CET 2018 toor@tmaster:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/TMASTER amd64
[ah@tmaster ~]$

The select_tape script returns the current tape from the drive to the libra=
ry,
loads the next one into the drive and returns.
