You're going to need to provide more information than that. We have many multithreaded programs using libpthread, so the How-To-Repeat isn't very helpful. There were also bugs in 5.3-release that have been fixed since, so you can also try updating to -stable or -current. Also, if you are using nvidia provided drivers, they are not thread-safe with libpthread. -- DE
