I am having problems getting any PCCARD modem to work properly with FreeBSD (4.6-PRERELEASE or 4.5-stable a few days ago). They all see to exhibit the same symptom, they are recognized, and will answer to AT commands, but all indicated NO DIALTONE.
At boot time the Toshiba Portege 3010CT indicates the following:
