Hi,
I have some problems enhancing a program I already have done to capture
static frames from bt848.
The first version capture one single frame with
ioctl( fd, METEORCAPTUR, &METEOR_CAP_SINGLE );
and works perfectly. Now I'm trying to enhance a little, and need to
take a second snap from the same device.
My program is based on the probability that the next image will be
very similar to the first. And it is, in the current testbed. The
camera is in another room, static.
But the second snap is completly different from the first. It is more
bright, and seems to have more noise. I'm attaching two small jpg's of
it. Two images are better than two thousand words. :)
I may send the sources on request (I'm intending to make a port of it
someday), but the algorithm is simple:
- open devices and setup properties (bright, contrast, size, etc)
- capture single frame
- save
- capture single frame
- save
- close all
Closing and reopening the devices made no difference at all. Running
a single snap program repeatedly behaves as I expect.
Any clue ?
Jonny
