should i assume my drive is broken?

(was flooded with these when running bonnie on 4 drive ccd filesystem)

and i got it every time running bonnie in 2040 meg filesystem, if i tell
bonnie to use file size over 512 megs (next one i tried was 990 megs)

system is latest cvsup:ed 2.1-STABLE (as of apr 9th 1pm GMT)

i use adaptec 2940UW, fujitsu 2gig ultra drives. (same server i had 3940UW
but had to take it out coz of errors worse than that)

machine didnt lock up or anything.
