	I've not looked into MySQL and what it has available, but
PostgreSQL has interfaces for C, C++, perl, JDBC, ODBC, tcl, python, and
PHP/FI supports it.  I've programmed interfaces in C, perl and
PHP/FI...and find that perl tends to be about the most comfortable for me.
