Apologies that nobody replied to this PR until now.

Windows does not have support for UFS filesystems so it's expected that you see
only the ESP (EFI System Partition), which is FAT formatted and contains the
bootloader components.

You say the boot process hangs after 1 minute -- what output do you see leading
up to the hang?
