Hi there. The file www/handbook/handbook10.html mentions FreeBSD's
compatibility with the "Zynx ZX342". The company is actually "Znyx"
(they pronounce it like "xenix"), and they have five ethernet cards
that may be compatible with FreeBSD:

  ZX346 Four-Channel Fast Ethernet
  ZX348 Two-Channel Fast Ethernet
  ZX345 Single Channel Fast Ethernet
  ZX314 Four-Channel Ethernet
  ZX312 Single Channel Ethernet

I don't know if they ever had a product that was called ZX342. All the
cards are based on the DEC 21x40 chipset.

If you want to include links to manufacturers, a good page for Znyx
would be "http://www.znyx.com/prod.htm", which is their products page.

I'll be purchasing at least one of the ZX346 or ZX314, possibly both,
and I'll send you my results. :) It'll be nice if the 4-port card
works with FreeBSD.
