Well, I don't think that reasonable coverage can be obtained from piecemeal testing so yes, I do mean a wholesale change (up to and including the kernel). This scenario is not out of the question for those of us with hardware dedicated specifically to testing and so I'm hoping that such testers will come forward and help John P. start really testing the ELF toolchain support.
