Crochet already uses U-Boot ports for some boards (patches to
switch others would be appreciated).

It grabs version control info and uses it to name the resulting build.

It captures results from the make commands it runs.

I believe it correctly handles failed make commands.

It doesn't support Hummingboard, but adding a new board is
generally pretty straightforward.

Of course, as others have noted, it's easy to write your
own scripts.  That is, after all, how Crochet started out.
