Unfortunately, no. Silence. But this might be due to the fact that I do 
something wrong.
I do not have the aifftools, so I simply tried the cdcontrol and there 
nothing happens, silence.

I tried to plug/unplug headphones and I see on the stdout the detection 
of my action. But still no sound. Neither speaker nor headphones.

Do you have an advice on how to test this feature?
I tried to find the aifftools but the sf link seems broken.
