Well, after a disasterous last week (I must've angered the gods or
something and they took it out on *two* of my machines), I've finally
gotten time to reinstall the latest -current on my laptop.
Machine: ThinkPad 760ED with 64M ram and 2.1G hd.
OS: FreeBSD-current 980504-SNAP and 980429-SNAP.
Problem: At some random point during the install (this is a fresh
install BTW) I get a vm_page_fault error and the whole thing just craps
out on me. I'm guessing that it's got to be something in the latest
round of kernel changes because I've installed various inceptions of
-current three times over the past year with no problems.
I thought a) I'd let someone know, and b) ask if I'm being a bonehead
and doing something stupid.
Thanks in advance.
