    The fastrm utility is optimized to remove a large number of files
from the same directory, which is why news.daily sorts the list of
files before passing it to fastrm.

    I don't think you'll see as much of an improvement doing
expireovers, because you're only talking about one overviews file per
newsgroups, versus thousands of articles per newsgroup.
