I've been trying to catch this for two or three months now...
Fatal trap 12: page fault while in kernel mode
fault virtual address = 0x8
fault code = Supervisor read, page not present
instruction pointer = 0x8:0xc01cf0c4
stack pointer = 0x10:0xc031ac10
frame pointer = 0x10:0xc031ac18
code segment = base 0x0, limit 0xfffff, type 0x1b
= DPL 0, pres 1 def 321, gran 1
processor flags = Interrupt enabled, resume, IOPL=0
current process = idle
interrupt mask =
trap number = 12
panic: page fault =
syncing disks....3 3
uptime: 1H39m9s
Any suggestions? Usually this thing reboots late at night...or when you
step away to get coffee...etc so I was lucky to catch it as it whent
by...
This is a freash build maybe 2 weeks old...added ipfw stuff this past
weekend I'd like to say that that's when the instability started but
I've have other compaqs without ipfw...staright install and it's been
this way..

Cheers,
Mikel
