My workstation is still running the prelim that was supposed to become a full blown viri scrubber...but the machine that it was slated to run on got utilized elsewhere. It works with a large variety of scanner software. http://www.amavis.org/ I'm sure he got all of the bugs i worked through with him fixed in the more recent releases...I havent had time to get back to it since it got backburnered. It was, relaly, a bear to get rolling off to begin with, but some of that was with th ebugs that I found.;) Do note you may have to make the usual allowances for linux based software...;p It /can/ be pretty resource intensive, but i'm scanning ~1000 emails a day through my workstation with both the Norton scanner, as well as AntiVir (pii 233, 128 megs of ram....and always got X, gnome, windowmaker, a few netscape, and a slew of eterms running..its not an idle box by any means..) and have not noticed a difference. Good luck. ....david -- David Raistrick Digital Wireless Communications davidr@dwcinet.com To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
