b$ a=0; ./MAKEDEV $(while [ $a -ne 2 ] ; do echo da$a ; a=$(($a + 1)) ; done)
Advantages: - no strange jot(1) syntax to remember
- uses only standard tools and the UNIX way
- easily modified and customized
- prevents our users from getting rusty in the sh(1) abilities
That's how *I* would do it, anyways. ;-) ;-)
