if one needs patches all the time, it could be easier to just make own repo tho, i bet you could just install only kernel from your repo you can also probably build just kernel and not anything else and then just have your kernel only repo and one could "ssh b pkg add - < a.txz" or "ssh c cat a.txz | pkg add -" adhoc add it without "server"
