Dear Ms/Mr,
I've triesd to install Fbsd 3.3 (a, not copyed, cd + 2 floppy)
          I've a pentium166 with 1.3Gb(0.83Gb FAT, 0.45Gb bsd)
At the end the sw inform me that the installation is completed with some errors.

Rebooting Win95 still work (..woh!), but asking to start unix the following meassage apprear:

--	-- -- -- -- --
No /boot/loader

>How-To-Repeat:

repeating installation or boot
>Fix:

 >>FreeBSD/i386 BOOT
 default: 0:wd(0,a)/Kernel
 boot:
 No/Kernel
 >>FreeBSD/i386 BOOT

 default: 0:wd(0,a)/Kernel
 boot:
 >>FreeBSD/i386 BOOT
 default: 0:wd(0,a)/Kernel
 boot:
 No/Kernel
 >>FreeBSD/i386 BOOT

 default: 0:wd(0,a)/Kernel
 boot:
 -- -- -- -- -- --
And if I try to type something similar to 0wd(1,a) i get again the last 2 row.

At pg.50 of the CD/book/book.txt is written:
"...Make particularly sure that the end of the root partition
falls within the first 504 MB. There is no way to ensure that the
kernel and bootstrap will be at the beginning of the partition.
 ..."
But I cannot delete everything and change the partition (that take
too time and now I have to study a lot; in fact I had to learn
unix, this is the reason for which i would like to have that
  also at home)

Thanks in advance to anyone could find the time to write me.

Kind regards, free world of ideas!

                          Pietro anastasio nicolaidi
