I grabbed the 3/3 snap to install on a box, and everything worked pretty good, except time-zone selection failed for some reason, and the screen flashed so fast I couldn't see it. Nor did I see anything on Alt-F2. However, it was not a fresh install, the box already had an older -current on it, so it may have been a problem there.
