My L15 arrived today with a new keyboard/mousepad. I set
hint.hwpstate_intel.0.disabled="1" in loader.conf and I have has no freezes. I
am currently updating the system to 13-STABLE and, once that is done and the
system is stable, I will remove the hint and see if freezes reappear. If they
do, we can add my 10th gen i5 to systems that need this tweek. I'm also into
look into just what this hint does. Certainly hardware issues can lock up the
system.
