Hi,
I'm trying to get FreeBSD 5.0-20011230-CURRENT running under VMware 3.0 as
a guest OS. The install process goes fine, but the system fails to boot.
20011225 snapshot did exactly the same thing. It's likely that this is a
bug in VMware rather than FreeBSD; I'm wondering whether anyone else
has successfully run -CURRENT in VMware.
Here's the last part of the boot log:

Looks like it has died after execve()'ing /sbin/init ?
Any suggestions about this would be appreciated.
