Hi I know this has been mentioned in a previous post, which I've lost... Anyway, a C/C++ program compiled on a 4.6-STABLE system (as of 16th) dies with an Abort if it uses malloc()/new() and is run on an earlier system. This is a major problem for me since I maintain several systems remotely but my development machine runs -STABLE (could be argued that's my own fault). Anyway, I also lost (Ok, deleted) the post which replied to the original message and suggested a cause - I'd be grateful if someone could forward that to me so that I can hopefully get myself a workaround. -Adrian To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
