I am trying to solve two problems. The first is an error message running portupgrade. I have 'make deinstall' and 'make reinstall' for both ruby18 and portupgrade ports. No luck. The second is a postfix/sendmail error message. I have disabled sendmail in the /etc/rc.conf options and was playing around with postfix. I have deleted postfix and still get error messages. Would appreciate any hints and pointers. Thanks in advance. -nick/ [1] Portupgrade error ===================== su-2.05b# portupgrade -a [Updating the pkgdb <format:bdb1_btree> in /var/db/pkg ... - 176 packages found (-3 +7) (...)/usr/local/lib/ruby/site_ruby/1.8/pkgdb.rb:467: [BUG] Segmentation fault ruby 1.8.2 (2004-07-29) [i386-freebsd4] Abort trap (core dumped from /var/log/messages: ======================= Sep 3 12:05:24 aoto /kernel: pid 12546 (ruby18), uid 0: exited on signal 6 (core dumped) Sep 3 12:06:00 aoto /kernel: pid 12574 (ruby18), uid 0: exited on signal 6 (core dumped) Sep 3 13:57:40 aoto /kernel: pid 13544 (ruby18), uid 0: exited on signal 6 (core dumped) [2] postfix/sendmail error ========================== Sep 3 10:00:08 aoto postfix/sendmail[116]: fatal: open /etc/postfix/main.cf: No such file or directory Sep 3 10:00:09 aoto postfix/sendmail[118]: fatal: open /etc/postfix/main.cf: No such file or directory
