Sorry, the pas0 line is of course not needed for SB cards.  

I have an old 486 with a PAS card in it, and just leave that line in so I
only have to build one kernel for both boxes.  Each system correctly probes
and notices the absense of the pas (or sb) devices--no manual disabling of
devices req'd.  No conflict with opl.
