3Com has yet another revision of the Tornado chipset floating around out there on newer 3c905C adapters. Supposedly, these are marked as 3c905CX and have become available within the last couple of months. I've seen some noise on the Linux mailing lists that seems to indicate that some driver mods were necessary due to reset timing differences introduced in the new chipset, however I haven't been able to get my hands on one of these cards yet so I don't know whether or not there are also problems with FreeBSD. Nobody has reported any yet, but it would be nice to confirm the issue one way or the other. If someone has one of these cards and is using it with the xl driver, I'd be interested to know how well (or how badly) it's working. -Bill To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-current" in the body of the message
