Dear all,

today my 4.10-stable box practillay died with lightning HDD-LED. I could
"ping" the box with occasional 5000ms replys, but no ssh-login nor
acpi-power-button shutdown was possible.
Pressing the num-lock button on the keyboard resulted in a 30sec lag between
pressing the button and changing the LED.
I'm running 4.10-stable from 4th July with HighPoint kernel module for the
HPT372 (declared for 4.9 by HighPoint), for more infos find links at the
bottom.

Here is what I saw on the console:

spec_getpages:(#da/0x20000) I/O read failure: (error=5) bp 0xcbb0 vp
0xcd3bdec0
	size: 4096, resid: 4096, a_count: 4096, valid: 0x0
	nread: 0, reqpage:0, pindex: 2, pcount: 1
vm_fault: pager read error, pid 27447 (init)
spec_getpages:(#da/0x200000) I/O read failure: (error=5) bp 0xc640d610 vp
0xcd3bdec0
	size: 49152, resid: 49152, a_count: 49152, valid: 0x0
	nread: 0, reqpage: 3, pindex: 12, pcount: 12
vmfault:_pager read error, pid 1 (init)

You can see a screenshot of that at:

The machines describtion is at:

it's dmesg:

If somebody is interested in the kernel config:

If you have any idea what this could mean pleas tell me.

Thank you,

-Harry
