Hello, I occasionally read the mailing list and I discovered with surprise (and horror) that a few people have had problems install the distribution of FreeBSD 2.2.5 that comes with The Unix System Administrator's Bible. The CD that comes with the book is an exact copy of the first CD (of a set of 4 CDs) from the 2.5.5 distribution and the installation should not pose any problems. It would seem however that the CD label did not get copied during the mastering of the CD and because of that the install program will not recognize the CD as being a 2.2.5 CD but that should not be a major problem. If people are having problems, feel free to send me email and I'll try to be of help to you. If there's a problem with the CD, we'll find it and fix it in future reprints. If you are in a hurry, the CD contains everything you need to build a boot floppy. Using it, you could do a network install.
