all, i am still running an old freebsd v2.2-stable and as time goes on and freebsd get further away from my hardware platform, i believe tat their are many people in my position, though not as vocal as i am about it, sometimes grin. how hard is it to retrofit things like named, sendmail and some of the other stuff need to make it all hang together. though i'm more concerned about the kernel stuff than the other bits that i'm able to "make" from sources, to date. i'd apreciate responces cc:'d as i'm no longer subscribed to freebsd-stable, for reasons of resource management. with regards and apreciations. jonathan -- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
