Hey guys.. Here is my mailing address: W. Warren P.O. Box 7730 Fort Worth, TX 76111-0730 alt email: wms121@hotmail.com Questions: 1) Will FreeBSD 64bit run on the new POWER4 chip (they have 64 bit Linux already)? 2) Will that be compatible to the AIX5L version of 64 bit Java? 3) The old IBM version of Java OS is interesting..you could do various versions of JVM's (Java Virtual Machines)..and styles with open ports to many languages and OS's. For instance what would be required to run a 256 bit version of FreeBSD on a JVM with attendant AIX support (if needed)? 1024 bit version? This assumes a reconfigurable JVM processor array up to 4096 processor in linked thread mode. 256 bit and higher OS's would be useful for emulating Optical Computers and Quantum Computers (1024, and 4096 bit versions could emulate this current universe down to the sub-quark level).
