Using SMP kernel + pcm will cause system to freeze for a few seconds up to a minute at iregular intervals 5-10 times per hour
Have moved about hardware, fiddled with bios settings but problem remains exactly same.
Same machine with GENERIC+pcm works fine
Same machine with SMP no pcm works fine
