BTW: since I'm ruinning -current I don't get silo overflows any more. (I have a ASUS P55 board with the 16550 UARTS, or the compatible chip, to be more precise). The 1496EG+ modem is driven via hardware handshaking at 57600 Baud. So I'm really satisfied with current ;-) -- andreas@knobel.gun.de /\/\___ Wiechers & Partner Datentechnik GmbH Andreas Klemm ___/\/\/ - Support Unix - aklemm@wup.de - \/ ftp://sunsite.unc.edu/pub/Linux/system/Printing/aps-491.tgz apsfilter - magic print filter 4lpd >>> knobel is powered by FreeBSD <<<
