ipfw -q add ${rule} count ip from any to ${ip} xmit ${iface}
ipfw -q add ${rule} count ip from ${ip} to any recv ${iface}
counts exactly twice of when using via instead of xmit|recv BUT! only for the recv rule. xmit is ok.
