If you're doing this yourself, you might definately ("might
definately" what the heck is that? :) want to at least look into
PHP or something else like it. I have a feeling there is a port
of it, but if not, see http://www.vex.net/php.
[this is a html preprocessor which allows you to add php scripts
(fairly straightforward) into your html. It includes support for
a number of popular database packages]
