I ordered a Gravis Ultrasound MAX recently and received a Gravis Ultrasound Plug-n-Play instead. Does anyone have any suggestions for getting this device working with the FreeBSD sound drivers? I tried initializing it under DOS, rebooting via Ctrl-Alt-Del, and then booting FreeBSD, but it didn't recognize the card (neither gus0 nor sb0 probed successfully). Not having kept up with the FreeBSD Plug-n-Play discussions, is there any hope for using this card? Guy Helmer, Dakota State University Computing Services - ghelmer@alpha.dsu.edu
