Why search for it? (it slows down make)
I assume there are already some differences from -CURRENT to RELENG_2_2
and RELENG_2_1 branches. So what is one more?
/sbin for -CURRENT and 2.2.8
/usr/sbin for 2.x (including 2.2.8)
