One possibility is that your firmware console setting does not match reality. From the SRM console, issue the command: >>> show console If it is set to serial & you're using a graphics head, try setting it to graphics: >>> set console graphics >>> init Or vice-versa if you're using a serial console and it is set to graphics. Another possability that comes to mind is that you're using an unsupported display adapter. If the above doesn't work, please reply with the output of 'show conf' from the SRM console.
