I kinda like the other BSDs functionality, so I thought >I'd see if there was interest in importing into FreeBSD. I think -d should be renamed -D, and -d for directories should be left unimplemented. There is no way for -d to create the intermediate directories with the correct ownerships and permissions. FreeBSD's `make install' depends on mtree(8) to have created the intermediate directories. There are still a few broken Makefiles that use `mkdir -p'. Bruce
